Here at Asana Health, we use many different modalities that can assist your complaint, such as sports tape.
Sometimes if there is difficulty with specific muscle activation or joint biomechanics, or you are wanting to get back into a specific sport but have pain/fear doing so, the use of sports tape can help to get things back on track.

Areas that we typically find sports tape helping are: knee pain, shoulder pain, scoliosis, areas of swelling, ankle instability and hypermobility.
This is typically used to temporarily assist the rehabilitation process and not recommended for long term use.
